Introduction

Overwhelmed with process data? Most plants are! Process historians collect massive amounts of data and the problem is no longer how to get more data, but how to beneficially use the information available.

PlantAnalyst™

PlantAnalyst provides sophisticated capabilities for on-line plant monitoring, optimization and report generation. Highly interactive operator displays allow measurements such as process totalizations, standard deviation and time differences to be taken directly from the charts. Displays including power spectrum, auto and cross correlation, SPC, histogram, X-Y charts and text listings are available with a button click. For advanced users, a powerful Math Engine provides the logic to apply custom calculations, process models and intelligence to any information displayed.

Capabilities extend further with complete object level integration of business applications like Excel, Word and Outlook and interface to standard data sources via ADO, ODBC and SQL. And the result? A platform to visualize and deliver focused information to all personnel working towards improved quality and production. Screen Shot...

Math Engine

At the center of PlantAnalyst is a sophisticated math engine. Capabilities of this key component are extensive and designed to make implementing time series calculations, logic and reports easy. The programming environment is optimized for process calculations and utilizes industry standard languages. Applications span from simple data conversions to implementation of advanced calculations, reports and predictive models.

Connectivity

PlantAnalyst uses high performance plug-in drivers to access multiple plant historians such as OSI-PI and has complete object level control over standard Microsoft Office applications. As a result, PlantAnalyst reads, writes, and bridges content in any Office format including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook. Access to other data sources can be incorporated via ODBC, DAO, and SQL. These unique features deliver unsurpassed integration capabilities between business and process information.

Reporting

Production reports can be generated in a wide variety of standard office formats, published to web sites or automatically e-mailed based on particular process conditions. Manual reports are generated with a few button clicks by inserting any combination of charts and text into a blank form.
